How can I get to my door? These cars are so close together that they form a barrier making it awkward to try and get my bike into the house.
Without a 'marked' area for bikes - the person leaving their bike can be made to feel like an intruder.

Obstruction - the bikes recklessly parked against the house - or the cars legitimately using the pavement. No cycle parking anywhere along this whole street contributes to this problem.

Railings are better than nothing - but such unofficial cycle parking is not welcoming and can cause problems for footway users.
