Bridge architect, Chris Dunn, shown here told me that the main span is 36m to the top of the support pillars. The pillars are at a sharp angle and so the span to the bases is 40m. The overall span of the bridge includes 100m across the floo ... [more]

In order to join the pillar to the bridge the workman who is bent over had to cut out a new spacing plate with the oxy-acetylene torch.
