The businesses here need some separation from cyclists . The customers (often inebriated) spill out onto the promenade .
This restaurant owner deliberately narrows the Viking coastal trail to allow his customers to spill out onto the Trail. He also parks his pickup truck and his delivery lorries also block the trail each day

Make the front wider and more attractive to walk along and allow easier social distancing.
A narrow road with shops. Closure needed except for bus service.
Too narrow and cars are too fast. It was announced this would be closed, then nothing.
PLEASE put a sign here from the main road, to indicate the cycle path which turns right into Monkton (blocked for motorists). It's already a cycle path, but there is no signage at all, and it took me a long time to find the route the other
Two secondary schools here and no cycle paths at all. Some of the pavement has grass verges.
TCF Walkers and cyclists are squeezed by other road users including buses. There is land adjacent that could be considered for a cycling and walking route to connect Kingsgate with Broadstairs.
TCF Narrow section of road which has many walkers and cyclists using it with other vehicles passing through making it dangerous and unpleasant.
Shared-use cycle and pedestrian path. Not wide enough.
No sea-front path here but pavement is not wide enough and no cycle path.
Narrow pavement shared by pedestrians and busy cycle path. Not wide enough, separated or properly marked.
Gate causes bottle-neck. Pedestrian and cycle path separation with bollards to exclude cars would be much better.
When busy there is not enough space on the Harbour Arm for cars and pedestrians. Motor traffic should be restricted or excluded.

Pedestrianisation or filtering of this section of the sea-front road is long overdue and could easily be achieved. The shared-use status of the pavement often currently doesn't work and certainly won't under distancing rules if we see an
Separated cycle paths and junctions are required along full length of A28. In many sections the overgrown remains of cycle paths put in when the road was first built can still be seen.
