This restaurant owner deliberately narrows the Viking coastal trail to allow his customers to spill out onto the Trail. He also parks his pickup truck and his delivery lorries also block the trail each day

TCF Walkers and cyclists are squeezed by other road users including buses. There is land adjacent that could be considered for a cycling and walking route to connect Kingsgate with Broadstairs.
Separated cycle paths and junctions are required along full length of A28. In many sections the overgrown remains of cycle paths put in when the road was first built can still be seen.
